So you want to buy a Senator? Well, welcome to my buyer's guide.
Owning a Vauxhall Senator is a rewarding experience - the VX badge means that there is little prestige attached to these barges and you should be able to get hold of one.
Most Sennys have loyal owners and will normally be well looked after. Because of their size and cost of ownership, it is unlikely that they have been thrashed or crashed by some 19 year old boy racer. Having said that, many are being snapped up now for use on Track Days, others are just being used and abused as they are so cheap to buy now.
The fact that there are less than 3,000 of these beasts on the road, and that number is diminishing rapidly is making them harder to find. But have patience and a Senny will be yours.
